UPDATE After several years of occasional use of this spool gun, I discovered (smh) it is running much hotter than what the dial read-out says. When the chart says to turn my dial to 21 volts, I found that 19 volts is closer to correct. I should not have put that much faith in what the machine dial s...

I need a 1 1/2" female NPT aluminum weld bung. I found one on amazon but they won't ship to Alaska.

Thanks guys. Portaban is one tool I don't have. I'll have to google some of the other things said here. I do have a Miller plasma cutter, sawsall, 4.5" cutoff tool, a larger grinder, jigsaw. I also have a 12" chop saw. I could never get the plasma cutter to do a clean cut on aluminum, not ...

I am looking for information on nozzles sizing for mig welding (aluminum) as I was looking at buying a new nozzle for my spoolmatic 30A spool gun. While I understand why nozzles are shaped for specialty welding (corners etc), I am not so sure what the different nozzle opening sizes mean; 1/2" ....
