Just wanted to add that I'm now using a (new to me) used syncrowave 250 to do this same technique and I'm not having any of the same issues with starting up the weld or any of that flashing i was last getting using my sync 180 SD. Im not sure but i think that the HF start is better or just different...

I'd love to use a wireless, but they are only for newer machines right? Inverter type. I have an older 1990's transformer type machine.
