Hi guys, I don't know anyplace else to go for help.
I got a cheap chinese spray welder for oxy since I only have 1 item to repair.
The fittings don't fit!
I've got B size ends on the hose and the torch inputs are like .470 diameter of the threads so no luck.
This .470 thing looks about 19 TPI but guessing cause my gage set has 18 and 20.
Can anyone steer this idiot to information?
THANKS!

If the OD is 12mm, then the threads are not TPI, they will also be MM. measure the distance between the threads, that’s the pitch. Standard 12mm threads are usually 1.75, fine is 1.50, super fine is 1.0. If the OD is ~0.470 then it’s definitely 12mm (0.472).

Yeah, 1.25mm pitch.
Now what do I do?
Damn thing doesn't have flashback arrestors.
Damn nightmare just for a press shaft.

You bought a cheap rig and want pro safety features? Put down the crack pipe and spend some money on things that actually make you money.

Or get to work cobbling together a solution.

Took it home. Done. 309 so I can spin it on the lathe.
The torch I bought is just too small.
Ps, I finished that beer.
